Please pre-book your ticket and arrival time slot online before you visit. You will not be allowed to enter the Tower of London without a ticket. You can arrive at any time within your allocated arrival time slot. The duration of your visit is not restricted in any way.

From Monday 14 September, group/multiple ticket holders are required by law to visit in groups of 6 (unless they are visiting as a household or support bubble which is larger than 6).

Tower Hamlets residents visit for just £1

Local residents within the borough of Tower Hamlets who have either an Idea Store card or Tower Hamlets library card can visit the Tower of London for only £1.00. This offer is possible because of an agreement with Tower Hamlets Council.

The offer is valid all year round. Only one ticket per adult card holder can be purchased per day. Adults can purchase additional tickets for additional children for £1.00. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can only be purchased on the day from our ticket office. We are now operating with timeslots with a limited capacity. If a timeslot is full, you will be put on the next available timeslot.

Adults should bring their proof of address and Idea Store or library card with them to the ticket office.
