Facilities and map

We offer all the essential facilities and a few you may not expect, including advice and tips for a perfect day out.

The Tower of London is an historic site with uneven, worn and sometimes slippery surfaces. Please take care when walking and wear appropriate footwear.

  • Toilets open - with disabled access:
    • Brick Tower, behind the Jewel House
  • Hand washing and hand sanitiser facilities
  • Tower map
  • Free Wi-Fi access
  • Baby changing facilities

Accessibility

We do everything we can to ensure visitors with disabilities enjoy the full palace experience.

Dedicated facilities, tours and wheelchair hire are available. There are also concession tickets, with free entry for carers. Download an accessibility guide for more information.

Eating

Whether you just want a snack or fancy a sit down meal, there are four options to suit your taste.

Shopping

Shop for gifts and souvenirs inspired by this famous royal residence and its iconic Yeoman Warders.

Our shops offer everything from souvenirs and gifts, to fine jewellery. You can also shop online and non-EU residents can buy tax-free.

Group visits

There are special offers and discounts for groups of 15 people or more.

We offer reduced admission for group bookings if you head to the Group Tickets office. Meal deals and discounts on Tower audio guides are also available (subject to availability).

School visits

We offer everything you need for the perfect educational visit.

Spaces are limited so book in advance.

You can include special sessions and workshops designed for pupils of all ages. Discounted entry for groups of 15 or more, on-site supervision and meal deals are also available.

Three suits of armour in cases in the Line of Kings Exhibition in the White Tower of the Tower of London. The two on the left were made for King Henry VIII (as a young boy and as an older man) and the one on the right was made for King Charles I.
