This Mothering Sunday weekend, the spectacular and much loved Florimania will return to the King's State Apartments at Hampton Court Palace, bringing the historic building to life and celebrating spring with vibrant floral displays.

Join us and explore our rich heraldic past, using flowers to represent the symbolic badges and emblems of the Tudor Kings and Queens of England.

This is the first of a spectacular series of summer events dedicated to celebrating Henry Vlll's legendary encounter with his great rival Francois l of France in 1520.

Setting up Florimania 2019. Showing a display of flowers including red and yellow roses and pink carnations set in a grey urn on a grey pedestal.

“Florimania: Embroidered Treasures of Hampton Court Palace” is a display held at the King’s Apartments from 29-31 March 2019 to celebrate Spring.

The display showcases floral-themed objects from the collections of Historic Royal Palaces and the Royal School of Needlework. Each object is interpreted by an accompanying arrangement of flowers designed by Surrey National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (Surrey NAFAS).
