Updated 19 December: In line with the latest government guidance, Hampton Court Palace and gardens will be closed from 20 December until further notice. Please note this also includes the ice rink and Magic Garden.
The Tiltyard Cafe is open for takeaways. You can choose from a variety of food and drink including: barista-style coffees, teas, pastries, cookies, muffins, cakes, along with light lunch options. The cafe is open from 10:30-16:30.
The Wilderness Kiosk is open, serving ice creams, snacks, teas and filter coffees. The Kiosk is open from 11:00-16:00.
Please note that social distancing measures will be in place to keep you and our staff safe, so please do bear with us.
Please feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy in the iconic gardens. Bring your food and a comfortable blanket from home, and enjoy this unique picnic location with plenty of space.
The cafe offers a range of hot and cold drinks, cakes, cookies and pastries.
Wednesday to Sunday: 10:30 - 16:30.
Situated at the heart of the palace, the Privy Kitchen is an ideal spot for a quick bite to eat. The Privy Kitchen Café serves a variety of hot drinks, sweet treats, Tudor-style pies and soups.
Did you know? Beef & ale pie is said to have been Henry VIII’s favourite treat after a tennis match.

To help protect our palace, food and drink is not allowed within the confines of any of the buildings except in designated areas.
