Updated 19 December: In line with the latest government guidance, Hampton Court Palace and gardens will be closed from 20 December until further notice. Please note this also includes the ice rink and Magic Garden.

We offer all the essential facilities to ensure your visit is safe and enjoyable.

  • Toilets open -  all with disabled access:
    • Wilderness
  • Hand washing and hand sanitiser facilities 
  • Free Wi-Fi access
  • Baby changing facilities
  • Dog owner guidance


We do everything we can to ensure disabled visitors enjoy the full palace experience. Due to COVID-19, we regret we are unable to provide wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Accessible parking on-site (9 bays)and carer tickets are available. Due to COVID-19, we are unable to offer any audio guides, braille guides or transcripts at this time.


All our food is seasonally inspired and freshly prepared.

The Tiltyard: cafe serving drinks, pastries and cakes. Takeaway only.

Wilderness kiosk: serving ice creams, snacks, tea and coffee. Takeaway only.


Shop for gifts and souvenirs inspired by this famous royal residence and its iconic inhabitants.

Our shops offer everything from souvenirs and gifts, to fine jewellery. You can also shop online and non-EU residents can buy tax-free. Our palace shops are currently closed but you can still shop online.

Group visits

In line with government guidelines, we are unable to offer group visits at this time. 

There are special offers and discounts for groups of 15 people or more. Meal deals and private guided tours are also available (subject to availability).

School visits

Our schools programme is currently suspended until January 2021. Bookings will open from 16 November 2020.

You can include special sessions and workshops designed for pupils of all ages. Discounted entry for groups of 15 or more, on-site supervision and meal deals are also available.
